I am having a hard time at night eating the right combination of food. I work two jobs and I work out once a week and walk at least 3 to 5 times a week. I seem to be graving more food and can’t seem to satify myself. I end of eating the wrong things. I want to eat healthy, but sometimes I go for the sweets which I know are bad and I end of eating more than I should. What is good snack to eat late at night that will satisfy by taste buds.

If late night snacking is the issue it might be advantageous to look to the fat, protein, and fiber content of dinner. Missing one of these components can leave you wanting later in the evening. Beans are a great addition to dinner to increase fiber and protein. A good sweet snack that can boost your fiber content and not be to heavy for the night time is dried fruit. Expand your horizons beyond raisins and try to find some dried mangoes(my favorite), papaya, apricots, dates, or figs. For during the day nuts and seeds make a great heart healthy snack that can fill you up and travel well when you are on the go.
